5 of 5 Love My Lute September 30, 2019
Reviewer: Mike Atkinson from New Hampshire
I've had my lute for about a month now. And it is wonderful. I am so very pleased with the instrument.  ... I know I like the look of lutes, and I love the Renaissance. But, as a classical guitar player, I really wasnt' certain how the differences between lute and guitar were going to manifest. I have decided I am going to play with a standard guitar tuning, rather than the 3rd string F#. So, with my 6 course lute, I get to play with, mostly , classical guitar technique. Sure, it's a little bit of cheating, but it works.

I was also a bit concerned with the direct tuning mechanisms.  It took me a week or so, but I can pretty much get the tuning pegs to work correctly; just add a little inward pressure when tuning.

I've got to say ... my instrument is a blast. And I am enjoying it immensly.
